Brisvegas Machinery is a proudly family owned and operated business and part of the Melbourne Tractors Group. The group began its journey in 1983 in North Coburg, Victoria, where it started as a small agricultural dealership supplying New Holland tractors to Melbourne’s northern suburbs. From these humble family‑run beginnings, the business has grown into one of Australia’s most trusted machinery groups — and today, Brisvegas Machinery proudly stands as the Kobelco Dealer of the Year for 2025 and one of the largest Kobelco dealers in the world.

As industries evolved, Melbourne Tractors expanded from agriculture into construction machinery, forming strong and enduring partnerships with leading global brands. Over time, the group secured distribution rights with Kobelco Excavators, ASV Positrack Loaders, Okada Hammers, and New Holland Construction, laying the foundation for national growth and industry leadership.

In the 1990s, the company relocated to Campbellfield, and as demand increased, new branches were established: Ballarat Tractors in 2000, Melbourne Tractors Dandenong and Brisvegas Machinery in 2008, and Meltrac Machinery in 2018. In 2019, the group moved into its modern headquarters in Somerton, where Melbourne Tractors continues to operate today.

Since opening in 2008, Brisvegas Machinery has grown into Queensland’s flagship dealer for premium machinery solutions, supporting operators across civil construction, earthmoving, quarrying, and local business. With over a decade of experience selling and supporting the Kobelco product, our long‑standing partnership has become a key part of our identity and a major reason operators across Queensland trust the Brisvegas name. In 2024, we were able to extend our Queensland territory  to include Central and North Queensland, significantly increasing our reach and ensuring more operators can access world‑class machinery, genuine parts, and dedicated support.

Building on this growth and our 2025 achievements, we proudly earned the title of Kobelco Dealer of the Year for 2025, further reinforcing our status as one of the world’s largest and most successful Kobelco dealers.
